Judge Michael Warren
Judge Michael Warren has served on the Oakland County Circuit Court in Michigan since 2002. He has taught constitutional and business law, is a former member of the Michigan State Board of Education, and has received many recognitions for his work, including induction into the Hall of Fame by the International Association of Top Professionals. He has presided over more than 375 jury trials. In celebration of America’s 250th birthday, Judge Warren authored The Revolutionary Words that Forged America – The Definitive Guide to the Declaration of Independence (Republic Books, 2026).
In 2009, with his then ten-year-old daughter Leah, he co-created the nonpartisan nonprofit Patriot Week, which has been unanimously recognized by the U.S. Senate and many states. He also writes and co-hosts the Patriot Lessons: American History and Civics Podcast.
Judge Warren is also the author of America’s Survival Guide: How to Stop America’s Impending Suicide by Reclaiming Our First Principles and History, along with numerous law review articles, legal reforms, official proclamations, public reports, and many published commentaries. Judge Warren is married to the love of his life, Shannon. Together they have two adult children, Leah and Alexander, and a Westie named Dickens. Outside the courtroom, Judge Warren is an avid marathon runner and a proud Trekkie.
Judge Casandra Morse-Bills
Judge Casandra Morse-Bills is a lifelong Michigander dedicated to upholding the Constitution, the rule of law, and the principles of fairness and accountability in the courtroom. Born and raised in Michigan, Judge Morse-Bills understands the values, work ethic, and traditions that shape the communities of this state.
Judge Morse-Bills currently serves as a sitting judge presiding over cases in the Probate, District, and Circuit Courts, where she has earned a reputation for thoughtful decision-making, respect for the law, and a firm commitment to justice. From family and probate matters to complex civil and criminal cases, Judge Morse-Bills brings experience, discipline, and integrity to every case that comes before the court. Judge Morse-Bills serves as a member of the Michigan Judicial Council developing and implementing a statewide judicial strategic plan to help create a unified vision for the future, build agreement around priorities, and develop innovative and comprehensive strategies for making system-wide improvements. She recognizes the challenges and opportunities for improvement within the Michigan court system and is deeply committed to improving the system and enhancing public trust in the judicial process.
Before taking the bench, Judge Morse-Bills built a career in both public service and private practice. She practiced law in the private sector, representing clients and gaining broad experience across multiple areas of law. Following that role, Judge Morse-Bills served as the prosecuting attorney for her community, where she worked to protect communities, advocate for victims, and ensure accountability under the law.
Judge Morse-Bills earned her undergraduate degree from the University of South Florida and went on to receive her Juris Doctor from Thomas M. Cooley Law School in Lansing. This education, combined with years of courtroom experience, has shaped a judicial philosophy rooted in constitutional principles, judicial restraint, and equal application of the law.
Throughout her career, Judge Morse-Bills has remained committed to serving the people of Michigan with integrity, independence, and respect for the rule of law. She believes judges must interpret the law as written, not legislate from the bench, and must apply the Constitution faithfully and without bias.
