On Oct 25, 2023, the Newaygo County Board of Commissioners passed Resolution #10-014-23 Recognizing Public Safety Departments for 100% Percent Compliancy with The National Incident Management System (NIMS).
In consideration of the fact that the national standard is set for 75% of Public Safety staff trained to comply with National directives, Newaygo County has achieve 100% staff training. Which is comprised of well over 50 hours of training. This includes all public safety departments within Newaygo County.
Further, Newaygo County Republican Party stands in complete support of the Newaygo Board of Commissioners for all their efforts to help support the public safety departments within Newaygo County.
